John Beneventi serves as Chief Financial Officer of Legacy First, bringing over 30 years of experience in accounting, finance, and data analytics across multiple sectors, including real estate, mortgage, homeownership counseling, STEM education, and entrepreneurial development.

A recognized expert in business transformation, John has led the design and implementation of technology-driven financial strategies that streamline complex operations and boost performance. His expertise in leveraging data and automation to modernize business infrastructure has proven invaluable across industries — and particularly in real estate.

At Legacy First, John played a pivotal role in transforming the fiscal performance of Freedom West Homes Corporation, a Legacy First client. Under his financial leadership, the organization achieved a 372% increase in net operating income (NOI) and a 362% improvement in its debt service coverage ratio (DSCR) over five years — a testament to his precision, insight, and impact.

In addition to his role at Legacy First, John is co-founder of 5x Solutions, where he continues to innovate at the intersection of finance and technology. He is the architect behind Telemetry BI, a turnkey business intelligence platform that enables organizations to measure and manage performance in real time. Previously, he led the development of CounselorMax, a cloud-based client management system that became the nation’s largest HUD-certified platform, adopted by over 400 mortgage counseling agencies and later acquired by NeighborWorks America.
